On the morning of August 7, 2020, the neighborhood pub "Syndikat" in the Schillerkiez, Berlin Neukölln was evicted under a large number of cops. Rich people buy houses, cultural free spaces have their rents cancelled and the state enforces the evictions. In this context, unfortunately, there were also arrests and one of our friends is now on trial.
Nicolai is accused of having thrown various objects, including pyrotechnics and a beer bottle, at cops from a crowd in front of the Syndikat in the morning. Several Ziften would have observed and documented this. One of the Ziften would then have pursued him to the then Out of Action point and fetched the riotcops there. He is accused of resisting during the arrest.
Since shit is what it is, we would like to invite you to come to the Tiergarten Amtsgericht, Berlin, on Thursday, June 2nd, starting at 10:00 a.m. and participate in a solidarity rally against repression and for autonomous free spaces.
