The Foreigners’ Section of FAU Berlin is calling its members to join the morning demo on May 1st to show solidarity with our fighting comrades around the world and especially SVEOD who are organising a strike in Athens. We join in pushing for these basic demands for riders in Germany, across Europe, and around the world:
• Permanent contracts with full insurance, salary, fiscal rights, and fixed working hours for everyone.
• Companies and employers must pay for all costs related to the execution of the work (bike/motorbike, gas, means of personal protection, mobile and internet data, ecc).
People of all professions should join us in these demands to prevent the creation of “second class” workers and the degradation of the lives of all working people. We are workers, not partners. We deserve dignified working lives, not exploitation clothed in language of Entrepreneurship and “flexibility”.
The demonstration starts 10:45, we gather at 10:00 @ Alexanderstraße (S | U Alexanderplatz)
