Construction began in 1875. To
complete the Statue of Liberty,
construction teams worked
around the clock, for 9 years. After completion in 1885, the statue was dismantled into 350 parts and sent to New York, where it was collected again.
SOOOOOO.... you're telling me, without the help of power tools, they built a giant statue over 9 years....just to then cut it in pieces and send it with ships... which was back then a weeks long life threatening journey....
